Gregg J. Carb attended the
University of
California
, Irvine and California State
University,
Northridge
before entering the Cleveland
College
of Chiropractic in Los
Angeles. He
graduated cum laude in 1985
with a B.S. in Human Biology and a
D.C. (Doctor of
Chiropractic).

Carb is also a
certified

(
Active Release Techniques)
provider
for repetitive strain and athletic
injuries, and maintains a clinical
practice in San Francisco,
California
.
Dr. Carb’s interest in
posture and ergonomics is a
natural extension
of the chiropractic emphasis
on
the relationship between anatomical
structure and
physiological function and of more
than twenty years of practice
working with a diverse
patient population
ranging from computer
programmers
to triathletes.
Time, training, and experience
have
all shown him that when it comes to
health, aging, and
fitness―
posture
matters
.
The success of
the first and second editions of
his
Sitting Pretty
books have inspired Dr. Carb
to
greatly expand and enhance the
content of his
earlier
work while maintaining a
focus on helping
people understand and improve what
they are doing most often
throughout the
day―
sitting. The new book release
The Science of
Sitting Made Simple fulfills
that inspiration.
